With over 20 years of experience, composer Richard
Temple has been incorporating music into a variety of settings with a vast
spectrum of musical styles. He has
made a number of top-10 lists on Broadjam.com. Richard is currently working on an
independent documentary project,
River Ways by Collin Stryker, and is a
synthesizer programmer for composer
Christopher Young. Richard received his undergraduate B.S. in Music
Technology degree from the University of Oregon. There, he studied composition and
engineering under his advisor and mentor Dr. Jeffrey Stolet. He also studied counterpoint with Dr. Hal
Owen, jazz improvisation, theory, and arranging with Assc. Professor Steve
Owen, and engineering and production with Jim Rusby. While finishing school, Richard worked for
Loudmouth Inc. as a sound designer and music engineer. His most recent projects include scoring the features
Certain Death and
Strange Aeons, and the short films
Merlot and Chaionte. As a
synthesizer programmer for Christopher Young, he recently completed
Ghost Rider,
Lucky You and is currently finishing
The Grudge II. He has also completed cue mock-ups with composer
Hillary Thomas for the documentary On Great White Wings. |
